BOIL WATER NOTICE
9/09/25
Due to reduced pressure and water pump failure, the Texas Commission on
Environmental Quality has required that a “Boil Water Notice be issued for the
public water system that may include ALL CARO WATER SUPPLY CUSTOMERS the
areas are FM 2664 and all roads north of FM 2664 including FM 1087 and parts of
FM 2864, and any area that was without water due to reduced pressure and
water pump failure.
To ensure destruction of all harmful bacteria and other microbes, water for
drinking, cooking, and ice making should be boiled and cooled prior to use for
drinking water or human consumption purposes. The water should be brought to
a vigorous rolling boil and then boiled for TWO minutes.
In lieu of boiling, individuals may purchase bottled water or obtain water from
some other suitable source of drinking water or human consumption purposes.
When it is no longer necessary to boil the water, Caro Water Supply Corporation
will notify customers that the boil water notice has been rescinded, and NO
LONGER necessary to boil their water.
